Texture Paint Curves Flickering #100388

System Information
Operating system: macOS 12.4 Monterey
Graphics card: Apple M1 (MacBook Air)

Blender Version
Broken: Version 3.2.2 (3.2.2 2022-08-03)
Worked: Unknown

Short description of error
In Texture Painting if you use Paint Curve to draw a curve, once you added some points to the paint curve using Ctrl+RMB the overlays and the curve itself starts to flicker on every mouse move. Only the overlays and the curve, not the entire ui. And only for Paint Curves. If you change to some other stroke styles it doesn't happen.

Maybe I should mention that, whenever my Mac wakes up from a longer period (like over night) the entire Blender UI flickers but that can be fixed with a simple restart of the App. But for Paint Curves, it is consistent.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
It can be reproduced for me easily in a new fresh blend file with the default cube. Just add a new black image texture(1024x1024) to the Base Color of the default material, then go to Texture Paint, choose "Curve" for the stroke style, create a Paint Curve, add points and then it starts flickering.

I kinda have the feeling this might be a macOS/M1 only issue or maybe paint curves are a rarely used feature(?). Because it is kinda annoying so I can't imagine this has not been reported yet. (I used search function)

Anyway, thanks for reading and possibly fixing. If there is anything I could try on my side, let me know.

Thanks for the report.

curve itself starts to flicker on every mouse move

As far as I can see these curve points are hidden when navigating in viewport on click event (orbiting with touchpad doesn't hide them).
Is this what you're experiencing too? Can confirm in that case.
