System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19044-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 517.48

Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.3.0, branch: master, commit date: 2022-09-06 15:39, hash: 0759f671ce
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Addon Information
Name: Cycles Render Engine ()
Author:

Short description of error
When I try to render or navigate in render mode (even for a simple scene), got random CUDA errors (failed to create cuda context is the most frequent error) I tryed EVERYTHING (I even reinstalled windows/ graphic drivers/ cuda drivers/ better settings in Nvidia panel/ studio AND game ready drivers) and I don't know how to use my GPU correctly in Blender anymore...

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Activate blender cycles engine with both CUDA or OPTIX, with both CPU & GPU or just GPU (I tested everything) and try to navigate in render mode or render an image
Made with simples scene with 2 panel lights, a human mesh and a ground panel

Thanks for the report. What error you've been getting? Could you share it?

open Blender's installation directory and double click on the blender_debug_gpu.cmd. This will start Blender in debug mode and create log files. Try to reproduce the error
again. Once it crashes or you close Blender manually the Windows Explorer should open and show you up to two files, a debug log and the system information. Add them to your
bug report by clicking on the upload button as shown in the screenshot below or via drag and drop. Please also upload the crash log located in C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\Temp\[project name].crash.txt (or simply type %TEMP% into the path bar of the Windows Explorer).2019_12_04_upload_icon_developer_blender_org.png

Here's the files you asked for, not sure if the temp file is the correct one, but this was the only file with the correct name I found there.

Hi, thanks for the information.
I'm not able to replicate the error. What exactly are reproducing steps? just render an image? Do I need to change render properties before the final render?
Please check CPU + GPU usage during the rendering.
Did you try to replicate the error with factory settings: {nav File > Defaults > Load Factory Settings}

It's very complicated because this error is just random, sometime it happens with the same file sometimes not. Sometimes with complicated files sometimes just with a simple one. However, it always hapen with minimum 10 min spent working on the file. This error occur both in render mode work and when I want to final render.
Yes I tried with factory settings too when I upgrated to the newest version. This happen since version 2.8 I suppose.
Did you found something in the error report ?
Could it be caused be a shader addon not loading correctly ?

Add-on would not be a culprit here since you're able to confirm the issue with factory reset.

This is still unclear to me
Have you tweaked GPU settings recently?
