System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19041-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: AMD Radeon RX 6600 ATI Technologies Inc. 4.5.0 Core Profile Context 22.10.1.221003

Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.3.1, branch: master, commit date: 2022-10-04 18:35, hash: b292cfe5a9
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
I tried to add an image as camera background image, but the whole viewport outside the camera view got corrupted on the grid lines (Corruption only visible when "Background image" is enabled and only visible through the camera view

After that, i tried to use the image as a reference in the 3d viewport, but the whole grid got that corrupted look, even outside the camera

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • Open blender, try using the fspy addon to import a camera position
  • the viewport looks like the first screenshot

2nd image:

  • tried using the image as a reference with the "Images as planes" addon, imported the picture
  • the viewport looks like the second screenshot

Another thing: I've tried to disable anti aliasing on the blender settings and that gets rid of the corrupted grids, but not the corrupted outline when you select an object

This is very similar to #100034 (Glitches with new AMD drivers (Adrenalin 22.7.1 or 22.8.2) when overlay has transparent images). There's been some indication that upgrading to the very latest version of AMD drivers (22.11.1 or newer) fixes this issue, can you try upgrading?
