M1 + mac os Ventura- Subsurface scattering Bug #102917

Short description of error
Hello, after updating to Ventura (the latest Mac os) which has Metal 3
the following bug is occurring with blender 3.3.1:

When Subsurface Scattering on a Material is used while a Volumetric Material is also active in the scene, the subsurface scattering appears darker.

The problem is visible on the render results too. Not only in the viewport.

The problem appeared only with Ventura, not with the previous version of mac os

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Download the file on a M1 machine with which is running Ventura
  2. Set in Render view
  3. Activate the "Volume" object while on render view
  4. subsurface scatter should get dark

I jus downloaded the release candidate 3.3.2 and the problem is resolved there. So I guess the problem will be solved when 3.3.2 will be officially released.

3.4 even felt a bit more responsive on the viewport, which means it's even more optimised for M1s ?
