Broken: (example: 2.80, edbf15d3c044, master, 2018-11-28, as found on the splash screen)
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)
I work with blender 3.3.1

Short description of error
I downloaded the add-on: Import-Export: Export autocad DXF Format (.dxf). I wanted to export a vector file (svg) to dxf file but it saves no data file. And I need this add-on very often.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).
Its the add on Import-Export: Export autocad DXF Format (.dxf)
Simply when you want to export something to dxf it doesnt works. There is also a warn-triangle for the add-on.

Hi, thanks for the report. Which object type you're exporting to dxf?
Note that .dxf export only supports mesh data: https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/3.5/addons/import_export/scene_dxf.html#supported-data
