Creates a mask radiating outwards from the active vertex in a uniform manner.

Remember the text:

from the active vertex 

This is my screenshot before the operator and choosing menu option:

I meant to extend from the area I already masked, but the result is opposite:

I was expecting to see the grey mask colour to start from the place of 'white dot'.

This is working as intended when this operator was released.
But we recently decided to improve the behavior with D16434. This will be part of 3.5 and the manual will be updated accordingly.
