Mesh shades smooth automatically #104056

Short description of error
I'm sculpting and every single time I switch from Sculpt mode to Edit mode and then back to Sculpt the mesh shades smooth. But I don't want it to shade smooth so I need to shade it flat again, over and over. Sometimes it also shades smooth just by pressing Ctrl S to save the project or going from object to sculpt.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Go to the sculpting window.
Go to object mode.
Select the fish
Shade flat
go back to sculpt
it will shade smooth automatically (without the shade smooth option being selected)

Hi, in your file, smooth shading in sculpt mode is due to Dyntopo option.
Disable Dyntopo option then execute shade smooth operation, this fill fix the problem.
Not a bug AFAICS. So closing this ticket. Feel free to comment if problem persists.

But, I used Dyntopo since I started sculpting and it did not shade smooth automatically like that. The issue started the day I reported it and I had 2 or 3 days sculpting with Dyntopo. What's the difference?
