Ramp visual feedback partially updates when ColorRampElement.position slider moved with mdrag #27213

%%%Attached .blend has only the default scene with a blend texture with a ramp on the cube's material. Add a new element to the ramp. Move the new gray element to the left of the black element by dragging it. The monitor responds as expected. Now move the gray element back to the center by dragging the "Pos" slider control (the one to the left of the color swatch). The monitor does update, but as the gray element crosses the black, the elements are not properly re-ordered, and now the black element is no longer shown to affect the monitor at all. Dragging the element itself resolves the incorrect display.

%%%Whoops here's a another example with the bug actually saved. The gray element isn't shown in the visual. Drag the element in the monitor to fix. This is the update that isn't getting done by dragging the Pos slider.%%%

%%%confirmed. fixing this is not so simple because it means re-arranging an array which is being edited.%%%

%%%But that seems to my code-ignorant eye to be exactly what's happening in the "correct case" -- if you drag the element itself, it re-arranges just fine, and you can see the "Choose active color stop" control (which seems to show the array index the selected colorband) update in realtime during the mdrag. I have to assume there's an architectural reason why the Pos slider interface can't work as well as dragging inside the strip directly?%%%
