Displacement Baking from Multires doesn't work #31500

%%%I appended an example file in which anything is set up to illustrate the issue. All you need to do to reproduce the bug is to bake the displacement maps for both meshes (named accordingly, but not saved to reduce file size). It works as expected for the Cube, but it gives entirely wrong looking results (sometimes completely black, sometimes nearly white) for the "hair" mesh. I attached also two sceenshots. The first shows the displacement map of the cube, the second the displacement map of the hair.

%%%I attached a second blend file. In this i reduced the hair mesh as far as possible, while still having this bug. My guess is that the baking algorithm can't handle this type of corner points (selected in file). They are perfectly fine (still manifold mesh), but have a more complex angle condition, which may confuse the algorithm.%%%

With current trunk looks like the issue is somewhere in re-calculating grid position from lower level to higher level. With 2.63a release it's probably scaling issues which makes bake result completely white, Will look into this.%%%
