Delete Branch "%!s(<nil>)"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

%%%Cannot reproduce on Windows Vista 32-bit Scons+Mingw (r. 50270).
Probably a fix similar to r.50093 is needed here too, though in this case it's a lot harder to see what's going on.%%%
%%%Just painted on left side of the default cube, named the group "a.L", created an empty group "a.R" and used "Mirror Vertex Group" from the dropdown menu. Now comes the devil in the detail. It actually stores the mirrored group in "a.R". That means "a.L" is now empty and "a.R" contains the _mirrored_vertices. Seams to be a feature rather then a bug.
%%%Can confirm the issue now (r50196, Ubutu 10.10 32 bit). Just painted on both sides and got the following result if a.L was selected:
a.L is copied mirrored to a.R
a.R is copied NOT mirrored to a.L
In fact it should behave as described in point three of the previous post.%%%
%%%I committed a fix now, where it keeps the same vertex group active after this operation, that shows better what is going on, which is that the name of the active vertex group is being changed as well. That's because of the "Flip Group Names" option that is enabled by default.
Mirroring both the left and right group could be useful but I'm not sure about it. If they are already symmetric it would do nothing, but in case they are asymmetric it could be useful. The problem for me though would be that it means you're changing unselected vertex groups, without the user explicitly asking for this, that's not good default behavior for a tool.
This operator is still confusing though, not sure how to solve.%%%
%%%The confusing thing is that the "Mirror Weights" option affects only the active vertex group, but the "Flip Group Names" option (necessarily) affects both the left and right vertex groups.%%%
