- The greasepencil deletes drawn strokes on both sides/multiple sides of an object, if you are in surface drawing mode and xray is off. Its messing up drawings oround object, for examples for Retopology ---


- Draw on to sides of a cube in surface mode, disable xray and erase strokes on one side, some points will show of while erasing and the other sides draing on the object is erased too---

%%%I realize greasepencil is incredible cool for many purposes, but to expect it to mimic 3d texture painting... it remains an annotation tool :)

Will ask Joshua though, maybe this falls within the specs of code he wrote for it.%%%

%%%A workaround/quick-fix for this could be to enable xray for grease pencil when using the eraser.%%%
