trail_count option missing for Particle (emitter) System Render Panel "Path" UI #34667

%%%This refers to ParticleSettings.trail_count in the Particle Systems > Render Panel (PARTICLE_PT_render in properties_particle.py)

The "Path" display option seems to do very different things when a particle (emitter not hair) simulation is baked as to when it is unbaked. When a simulation is unbaked the "path" display mode works like the "line" option, except displaying dots along the path instead of lines. However this type of display is quite hidden from the user as it is only enabled when trail_count>1 and currently trail_count is not displayed in the "path" ui, but only in the "line" ui. When a simulation is baked the "Path" display in the 3D viewport changes to give a display much more like how hair is shown. The viewport display of a baked particle simulation then ignores the trail_count option.

Perhaps trail_count should be shown in the "path" panel only when the simulation is unbaked? Or perhaps the 'dots' (unbaked) display type of "path" should be a completely separate display mode to "path", or just a sub-option of the "line" mode?

I can't work out what is intentional but at the moment a sort of secret display mode exists which is only revealed when options in the UI for another display mode are changed!

Thanks!

%%%Hi Ton,

This should do it...
http://www.pasteall.org/40595/diff

I don't have a full checkout here so the path in that patch isn't relative. Please check carefully (my first ever patch :))
