Maya key config - select operations are skipped by "undo" #35661

%%%--- Operating System, Graphics card ---

Windows 7 X64, nvidia geforce gtx 460

- Blender version with error, and version that worked ---

With error - Blender 2.67 r57165 X64 (from buildbot).
Version that works is any version, including this one, as long as the select command is "Activate/Select" (view3d.select) instead of "Select or Deselect All" (view3d.select_or_deselect_all).

- Short description of error ---

When using the maya key config, the selection operations are ignored by undo. If you select some vertices, then press undo, the operation that gets undone is the one prior to selecting any vertices. The selection, of course, is also not redoable.
I understand the reason why the new command was added, so that it allows deselecting by clicking outside any object/component, which I find very useful. It also introduced the very useful Ctrl+Click for deselecting.

- Steps for others to reproduce the error (preferably based on attached .blend file) ---

Start Blender and choose the maya preset. The default start-up scene is okay for exemplifying this issue.
Select the cube and enter edit mode. By default you are in vertex selection mode and all vertices are selected. Leave it as it is.
Subdivide twice (this is just to show the "skip selection" behavior).
Select some vertices. You can use shift+click and ctrl+click a few times, just to have more select/deselect operations.
Now press "undo" (Ctrl+Z). The cube returns to just one subdivision level and all vertices are selected - so the second "subdivide" operation was undone. Pressing "redo" (Shift+Ctrl+Z), restores the second subdivision operation and all vertices are selected. Pressing "redo" again does nothing.

If you select, like before, some vertices and open the undo history (Ctrl+Alt+Z), you can see that the selection operations don't get added to the history. Border select, lasso select or circle select, do.

I like the new select behavior as opposed to the old one that that didn't allow deselecting by clicking in an empty space, but I'd like it to be an undoable operation.

Thank you.%%%

%%%I've fixed this issue in svn, but there're changes in py api which broke all presets. Forwarded this information to an author of that changes. Hope presets will work fine soon.%%%
