save as runtime: File Not Found (*.exe.blend) #37157

2.69.0 r60761 RC2 (Windows 32Bit)

Description:
A FileNotFound exception is thrown when exporting a game as engine runtime.
It seams like the script tries to append a ".blend" to the ".exe" filename which cannot be found.
Linux and OSX versions of the script seam to be unaffected.
I could only test the Windwos 32Bit version of blender.

How to reproduce:

  • Create a new "default cube" scene
  • Enable the AddOn "Save Game as Engine Runtime" in the User Preferences
  • Click on "File"->"Export"-> "Save Game as Engine Runtime"
  • The error shows

Tested on:
Windows XP Pro 32Bit

Tested with both .blend + export folder under

  • My Documents
  • D:\ (root folder)
    neither worked

Trying the same with version 2.68a works fine.%%%

On line 115 of the script:
blend_path += '.blend'

Needs to be moved back to line 110 before:
bpy.ops.wm.save_as_mainfile(filepath=blend_path,

I don't know how to do patch files yet but I'll attach a working version.%%%

I'm lily. I use Windows 8 and Blender 2.69. I also have the same problem. I read the tread but I don't understand how to view the script to move the code line from 115 to 110. Can you help me?
