Pose mode bone selection reset when accidentally select mesh. #37336

%%%If I'm Shift-RMB selecting multiple bones (pose mode) and then accidentally select the mesh, Blender slips into Object mode (as expected) but when I return to the bones (pose mode again), all my previously selected bones have become unselected and I need to start all over.

Note that this is not a problem when moving from Pose mode <=> Object mode using the drop down menus. It happens only when Blender resets the selected bones because the mesh is accidentally selected with right mouse click. In fact, using the menus I can enter Object mode, then select several items, and when I return to Pose mode for the rig, the previously selected bones are indeed remembered by Blender. I'm therefore assuming that the "selected bone memory" is the intended behaviour and that it is an oversight / bug that this is not carried through when [accidentally] selecting a mesh with Right-Mouse click.

%%%Not sure it’s a bug, this behavior is explicitly defined in ED_do_pose_selectbuffer()… Campbell, since the comment is from you, I’ll let you make the final decision! ;)%%%
