version 2.73 (sub 4), branch b'master', commit date b'2015-01-28' b'09:36', hash b'ce52e78', b'Release'
build date: b'Wed 01/28/2015', b'10:44 AM'

import bpy
import mathutils

knot1 = -10, 0, 2
handle1 = -10, 5.5, 2
handle2 = -10, -5.5, 2
knot2 = 0, 10, 2

a = mathutils.geometry.interpolate_bezier(knot1, handle1, handle2, knot2, 5)
print(a)

3d in, 2d out? I didn't see any mentions of geometry.interpolate_bezier in the last 9 days in the commit logs, and no error reports.

@mont29 hi.

I still have this issue on windows machine. But on linux it works ok.
I downloaded fresh daily build of master branch 656df15 revision for Windows 64.

Here is my python code:

                print(knot1, handle1, handle2, knot2)
                vecs = mathu.geometry.interpolate_bezier(knot1, handle1, handle2, knot2, 3+1)
                print('vecsssssssss')
                print(vecs)

Here is the print result:
<Vector (0.0000, 1.0000, 0.0000)> <Vector (0.5858, 1.0000, 0.0000)> <Vector (1.0000, 0.5858, 0.0000)> <Vector (1.0000, 0.0000, 0.0000)>
vecsssssssss
[Vector((0.0, 1.0)), Vector((0.5196087956428528, 0.8709155321121216)), Vector((0.8709155321121216, 0.5196087956428528)), Vector((1.0, -5.960464477539063e-08))]

As you can see output interpolated vectors are 2d only.

I'll test on new linux fresh build tomorrow also.
I'll make this issue Open for a while if you don't mind.
