v2.79.1 (Hash: f320d0e)

If you delete all unlocked vertex groups the "-" button turns into that function instead of just deleting one group.

Select a mesh and go to the "Data" panel.
In "Vertex Groups" click the "+" button a couple of times to create some new groups
Click the "Specials" button (the triangle down icon) and choose "Delete All Unlocked Groups"
all groups get deleted
Again, click the "+" button a couple of times to create some new groups
Click the "-" button and it will not just delete the selected group but all unlocked groups.
