System Information
Windows 10 64-bit, Graphics cards: GTX 570, GT 610 (display).

Blender Version
Broken: 2.79 ac2ebf9 (Latest Windows 64-bit build).
Worked: -

Short description of error

If an object exists on multiple layers, MeasureIt measurements only appear on the first of the layers, e.g. if an object is on layers 1 and 2 the add-on only shows the measurements on layer 1. If an object is on layer 2, with measurements displaying, and is then moved to also exist on layer 1 the measurements will disappear from layer 2 and only appear on 1.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

MeasureIt Layer bug.blend

  1. Turn on measurements with Toolshelf> Display tab> MeasureIt Tools panel> Show.
  2. The measurement should currently be visible. Press '2' to switch to layer 2. The measurements disappear.

@nBurn : could you check if D3017 is a reasonable change?
