Import OBJ file #53796

**System Information
Operating system and graphics card: Windows 10, Nividia Quadro FX 380

Blender Version
Blender 2.79 windows64

Import obj files doesn't work. I have created a building in program: Arcadia Architecture8 and then exported it to obj file. When I tryed to open it in blender, nothing was on the screen.
However, in the outliner field everything was fine, there were such elements of building like walls, floors, windows, etc. on the list of the scene. I could see even textures of each element in texture properties field. But in 3D view nothing was on the screen.
Would you be able to help me solve this problem?

Kind regards,

Grzegorz

It looks like a general support issue and not a software error we can investigate on developer.blender.org.

To infer .obj import is broken in Blender : first, you have to check if your file is correctly open in other software.
It could simply be a problem of scale. 3D objects imported could be too small or too big for viewport clipping.
While an export, user have to take attention that meters are not changed to kilometers or millimeters. It is a frequent mistake.

To investigate general issues, check on support sites such as:

  http://blender.stackexchange.com
  https://blenderartists.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?7-Support

If you still think you have found a bug, please give exact steps to redo the error, attach .obj or .blend file.
