Problem with moving on a large scale #67389

Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit
Graphics card: GeForce RTX 2080
RAM: 16 GB

Short description of error
It looks like the 'move' gizmo doesn't work on bigger scales and it keeps objects going back to the origin's grid. It happens in any directions.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Create a sphere with minimum 1000 km (kilometers) radius and try to move it around with your mouse. When you move it too far it will come back to the origin of the grid.

Blender is not a CAD, IMO with big number and small number Blender has a know issue to numbers precision
Blender unit is not a real measure, in your project one Blender unit may be a parsec or a nanometer in real world

we can't shape a grain of salt in the same project with county land

on linux RC2 and dailybuild c2e8e249ac can confirm this issue

Even though it's probably a problem with float precision, I think it's still worth investigating.
It should still be possible to work with this order of magnitude even if small values are lost.
