Blender 2.92 - persistent crashing on OS X Big Sur

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
I can't pin down what action causes the crash. It's just general actions like grab-move-object, hide-object, switch between edit & object mode; switch between viewport modes.

I'm a novice with Blender, so I can guarantee I don't have anything complex in my model ('cos I don't know how yet).

The blend file is 50MB, so let me know if you need me to attach it.
