System Information
Operating system: Windows 10
Graphics card: GTX 1080
Blender Version
Broken: 2.91.0
Worked: Unknown
Short description of error
Blender is on my desktop open, running. I save my work, put Windows into hibernate mode, power up Windows, and it's gone as if I never left Blender open. It's not minimized, it's just not there. Happened 3 times now.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Beyond the description that is all I can provide.
Would need to find a way, a log or something to help identify why this behavior is occurring.

It would be helpful if you could provide a crash log, yes. See https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/troubleshooting/crash.html#windows. If you run Blender with
blender_debug_log.cmd
then go into hibernate mode, Blender might be able to write the crash file.No success due to not knowing how to proceed with:
Run Blender with blender_debug_log.cmd
You're gonna have to give steps as I never did this before.
Open Blender's installation directory and double click on the
blender_debug_log.cmd
. This will start Blender in debug mode and create log files. Once Blender crashes the Windows Explorer should open and show you up to two files, a debug log and the system information. Add them to your bug report via drag and drop. Please also upload the crash log located inC:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\Temp\[project name].crash.txt
(or simply type%TEMP%
into the path bar of the Windows Explorer).Added subscriber: @mano-wii
