System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19041-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1050/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 461.92

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.90.1, branch: master, commit date: 2020-09-23 06:43, hash: 3e85bb34d0
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
fluid physics doesn't work at my pc

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
i used physics fluid at my object but it doesn't work at all, i was following the tutorial and asked to community, the setting was appropriate but the fluid still doesn't flow

There were multiple issues with this file.

  • Both the domain and the fluid source had a scale not equal to (1, 1, 1). Especially when doing physics simulations, applying the scale is recommended. Select the objects, then do Object>Apply>Scale. If the origin of the domain gets shifted, you can reset it to the geometry using Object>Set Origin>Origin to Geometry.
  • The Surface Emission setting in the Flow Source panel of the fluid source was set to 0. I'd set it to 1.

The Initial Velocity in the Z direction as well as the Source was very high. I reset it to 0 and the Source to 1.

Closing. This is not a bug.
