Right Click move in Sculpting Mode cannot be reversed #90957

System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19041-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1060 3GB/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 456.71

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.93.3, branch: master, commit date: 2021-08-17 18:30, hash: 8b80d19f36
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
This is a very annoying bug in the logic, it doesn't cause a crash or anything, but if you accidentally right click while sculpting the model's vertices will move around as if you selected everything in edit mode and pressed G. It's a nice feature but there is no way to undo the results of the movement. Undo does not reverse the action, and you cannot reset the transform of the object because it's the vertices that are affected, not the object's coordinates. This can cause you do permanently screw up the alignment of objects you are sculpting, prompting the user to carefully nudge the model back into place or to reload a previous save.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Add a cube, go to sculpting mode, right click and drag the model, press undo.

This only happens when using right click select, right?
There's no such problem when using the factory settings...

Undo does not reverse the action, and you cannot reset the transform of the object because it's the vertices that are affected, not the object's coordinates

Hi, thanks for the report. From above line I think this is similar to #90234 (Wrong undo/redo sequence with direct transform change (via Item/transform panel or addon))

Can you please confirm if that's the case?

True, but I have been using right click select since it was the default factory setting of blender, and it is a better way of using blender, and the only reason that they made left click select the default is to make blender more accessible to newbies coming from other software.

It is only similar in that the action is not being undone and that I am also using copy attributes.

SOLVED: I am trying to reproduce the issue now and it seems to no longer be there, as in the action is reversed and there is no longer a bug. I'm not sure if someone fixed or if there is just an issue on my side. Perhaps it is early onset dementia. Thanks for your help.
