Just open default scene, delete cube, add a tree and the control panel shows but can not be used. It works in 2.83 but not 2.93.4

tree_not working.blend and a scene with default tree. Note dialog closes when saving scene.

I cannot reproduce this with either the latest stable or current development versions of Blender:

Please try the latest daily build: https://builder.blender.org/download/

Go to File → Defaults → Load Factory Settings and then load your file to see if you still can reproduce this issue.

If the problem persists, please give us more clear instructions on how to reproduce it from scratch.

Hi, I think Global Undo is not enabled. Try enable it from {nav Edit> Preferences > System > Global Undo}

May be that will resolve the issue. If not, please follow the instructions which Germano has mentioned :)

Pratik Thank you very much.

The global undo was unchecked (I do not recall turning it OFF but must have).

Turning it back ON (checked) fixed the Tree generator
