The file has no image textures in it. When does it crash? When you render?

It only crashes in the material preview & eevee render only.
Here's the screen recording of the issue.

Hi, thanks for the report. Please pack the textures in Blend file and post .blend file here

Test.blend
Hi, thanks for the file. I am not able to reproduce on master and 2.93.3
Could you please upload crash logs?: https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/dev/troubleshooting/crash.html#crash-log
Also, please try to reproduce the crash with factory preferences: {nav Edit > Preferences > Save & Load > Load Factory Preferences}
And, please try again with recent LTS version. Various fixes has been added since 2.93.2: https://www.blender.org/download/
I tried with factory preferences, but it not fixed.
Test.crash.txt
Hi, crash is related to intel driver. Please try again with recent driver: https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/dev/troubleshooting/gpu/windows/intel.html
Okay, I'll try it...
Hi Sujaya, any news? Does that help to fix crash?
No. still not fixed.
Hi, please add system info file generated from the Help menu: {nav Help > Save system Info}
I checked your graphics card and it's still supported (Micro-architecture: Haswell)
system-info.txt
Changed status from 'Needs User Info' to: 'Needs Triage'
Hi @ThomasDinges , can you reproduce the crash on your intel machine?
I have nothing more to add here. I suspect this a driver issue after reading crash.txt file.
(Resetting the status)
Cannot confirm a crash here. Blender 2.93.6, Intel HD Graphics 520 on Windows 10. Connecting the Mix Shader to the Material Output works and textures appear in Material Preview viewport shading mode.

Hi @Jake-Faulkner , I think you have the same GPU. So are you able to confirm the crash?
Confirm for Blender 2.93 LTS and current master, but no crash in 2.83 LTS. Blender stays fully responsive for a few seconds after connecting the node, before freezing and eventually crashing.
Changed status from 'Needs Triage' to: 'Confirmed'
Thanks @Jake-Faulkner . Will confirm for now.
So crash only appears on intel cards?
