Hi, thanks for the report. Can you upload .blend file as well.
Also, make sure to pack resources in your file then save it: {nav File > External Data > Pack Resources}
Md-31_FS_TechVloer V06-Buggy-V02.blend
Hi Pratik,
For some reason I wasn't able to pack the blenderfile with the JPG-files, so I have uploaded both. Blender refused to pack the JPG's with the command you gave me. The uploaded files are: "Md-31_FS_TechVloer V06-Buggy-V02.blend" and "Connect-2040-vid.zip"; the latter holds 9500 JPG's from the original MP4-movie, extracted via the Blender Video Editor.
Additional info: the number of 500 frames before crashing seems to be a constant. when I start animation from, for example, frame 300, the crash appears at about frame 800.
Thanks in advance for your attention for this problem.
Thank you Willem. Other file (
Connect-2040-vid.zip
) is missing. Can you also upload that file?Remarkable, I added that file too. Weel, second try.Connect-2040-vid.zip

Connect-2040-vid.zip
I gave it several tries to upload (the zip is 476 MB) but it I don't see it in this log. I have tried to load up the original folder (751 MB) which was refused. Is there another way to get the file to you?
Oh, I get it. the uploaded files show up after submitting the message :-)
Thanks, still unable to get the crash on both 3.0.0 and 3.1.0
Someone on Mac need to check this (I've seen some recent crash reports on Apple M1. Probably its one of them?)
Please attach crash logs: https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/dev/troubleshooting/crash.html#crash-log
Are you able to get the crash with factory preferences?: {nav Edit > Preferences > Save & Load (3 horizontal lines) > Load Factory preferences}
Thanks for testing

Thanks Willem. @mano-wii , can you reproduce the crash on Mac?

This is probably a duplicate of #92740 (based on the crashing stack trace above) which was already fixed for 3.1 and then again for 3.0.1 as of January 12th.

Indeed looks like a duplicate. Thanks @deadpin :)
Willem, can you please check again on recent 3.0.1 build?: https://builder.blender.org/download/daily/
Hi Pratik & Jesse,
YooHoo! Problem solved, everything works fine now. FYI: I used "Blender 3.0.1 - Release Candidate January 17, 02-00-02 -
aafbd74646
- dmg - 172.93MB", Apple silicon version for the test. In my first series of tests I used an RC from 11 januari, just one day before the fixed version came out....Anyway, thanks for your fast response. Happy again!
best regards,
Willem
Will close then. Thanks again for the report :)
