System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.18363-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 466.77

Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.1.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2022-01-16 23:26, hash: 34d424fd64
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
Animation is rendered in Eevee instead of cycles, the eacch rendered image in preview is Eevee not cycles. Any of changes around settings or viewport not helping.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Set output file as PNG, select render engine cycles.
Look's it's old bug and problem.

Well.. it's working on simple example, but not on my advanced project.
Don't know how to show all configuration without project.

Can be closed this ticket.
I moved whole project to new file by append (it was not so easy), and working now.

Want recommend some tool to compare configurations of files as in this case, to not sending file project, just configurations that are used, objects types with this.. etc.
