Shift A (add new object) inactive on any viewoport after creation of a floating panel #97236

Short description of error
When you create a floating panel anf move it to the second display the shift A shortuct to add a new object doesn't work anymore on the main window (but works on the new floating panel). If you save, close and ropen blender and the blend file then shift A works again.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open blender, create a new floating panel (shift click on a top left corner of a panel), then move the panel on a different display, shift A works on the newly created panel but no more on the main window (it seems that no keyboard entry works on the main window). Save the file an reopen blender then the file saved and everything works fine.

I cannot replicate the problem.
Does this problem happen if you put new floating panel on the same display?
Are you sure you activated the window before typing the shortcut?
For keyboard shortcuts to take effect, the window must be active. You must click at least once in the window to activate it.

Yes it is the same issue. In addition I can show you what happens if I close blender right after having created this floating panel, look at the "save" dialog box, it is kind iof embeded and trunckated inside the new floating panel (red circle on the top right) Capture d’écran 2022-04-11 à 18.28.31.png
