System InformationDevice name LAPTOP-OL4ASJ88
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1035G1 CPU @ 1.00GHz 1.19 GHz
Installed RAM 12.0 GB (11.7 GB usable)
Device ID 9829DC34-10C4-4091-99BE-96FF98B9B612
Product ID 00325-82033-92876-AAOEM
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display

Operating system: Microsoft Windows
Graphics card: Intel(R) UHD Graphics

Blender Version
Broken: (example: 2.80, edbf15d3c0, master, 2018-11-28, as found on the splash screen)
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected) Blender Version 3.1.2

Short description of error

Not sure if this counts as a bug or not but was using blender and the day before it works perfectly fine and then I saved it and now today when I turned it on it just keeps freezing

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible). Only thing I can really think of is that I saved on blender turned it off then turn it on later and didn't do anything else and now blender doesn't work at all and I know it not the memory cause I check and with blender on it only use 40% of the memory max

Hi, thanks for the report. This report does not contain all the requested information, which is required for us to investigate the issue.
Reset your user preferences and see if that works: {nav File > Default > Load Factory Settings}
(A guideline for making a good bug report can be found at https://wiki.blender.org/wiki/Process/Bug_Reports)

Please do not submit multiple reports for the same issue

What other information do you need to investigate this, and I did what you mention but it still locks up on anything that I work on that I have saved

Hi, in report title you've said "Blender is crashing" but when exactly crash occurs is still unclear to me. Is this a random crash?

#98275: then I saved it and now today when I turned it on it just keeps freezing

So does this mean crash occurs when you reopen the application? or when you open particular .blend file?

#98281#1361725: So every time I save to blender it keeps crashing even if I leave blender and reboot it, it still crash

or when file browser window is open and you hit Save button to save your current file?

was using blender and the day before it works perfectly fine

Have you tried factory reset as suggested in last comment?: {nav File > Defaults > Load Factory Settings}
If factory reset doesn't help, please upload log files generated after the crash
Please open Blender's installation directory and double click on the `blender_debug_gpu.cmd`. This will start Blender in debug mode and create log files. Try to reproduce the error again. Once it crashes or you close Blender manually the Windows Explorer should open and show you up to two files, a debug log and the system information. Add them to your bug report by clicking on the upload button as shown in the screenshot below or via drag and drop. Please also upload the crash log located in `C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\Temp\[project name].crash.txt` (or simply type `%TEMP%` into the path bar of the Windows Explorer).{[F8190038](https://archive.blender.org/developer/F8190038/2019_12_04_upload_icon_developer_blender_org.png)}

I already tried factory reset and that didn’t work and the crash only happens after I save my work once, before I save it work prefectly fine but as soon as I save it the crash will sometimes happen when I open blender but 100% of the time it happens within a minute or two of blender being open

For some reason couldn't get the crash to happen again so that was weird despite having it happen 10 times yesterday and going to try and make that happen again so if I can make it happen Ill post when it does but then for some reason the zoom in and out function and the other function that lets you move the view in any direction stop working I put the error code for it below, not sure if you can click that but whenever I try and copy and paste or drag it to this comment section or upload, it comes out as that letter and number{F13096722}.

Hi, did you manage to repro it again?

for some reason the zoom in and out function and the other function that lets you move the view in any direction stop working

You may have changed the keymap for viewport navigation operations.
