Disable "Show Group Colors" by default

I'd like to propose to disable the "Show Groups Colors" of the action window by default:
Since bright group colors are often used to nicely contrast with the dark background in the 3d viewport, to better see controller bones, it makes it difficult to read the text of the fcurves in the action window.

Or, maybe it would be nice to automatically clamp the colors so that it does not interfer with the text color.
Would be interesting to have your feedback on this.

Yes, I agree with this. It makes the source list very difficult to read, and doesn't seem to add much in terms of clarity.

I'd rather go for clamping the channel color than adapting the text color.
Let's say you need very bright, flashy colors for the bones controllers to contrast with the dark viewport background.
You don't want the same flashy colors to be displayed in the action channels, otherwise it will look like a christmas tree :)
It would be nice at least to disable channel colors by default, waiting for a correct implementation of colors adaptation, wouldn't it?

I rather not make this feature more hidden to work around what is really a bug.

Ok, Brecht, I'm still quite new to the Blender code but if it makes sense to you I can volunteer to propose a patch to clamp the channel colors so that's it's not too flashy. Please let me know your thoughts...
