Currently slider buttons look too much like

  • Enum buttons.
  • Toggle buttons.
  • Default action buttons.

Using a saturated color also doesn't work that well when color is used to communicate button state (animated, driven, overridden).

making this usable required workaround to ensure the slider is re-colored and contrasts properly. rBb93e57dcdfa486ef5b435c73ebb8c2c1ce612019

Proposing to use grey slider to avoid confusion with other kinds of buttons.

To me I find it visually confusing that the slider is darker when on than off. I think we could flip it, so the slider part is brighter than the background.
