Hi, thanks for the report. I can confirm. But call stack is not generating after the crash (maybe memory leak is causing the crash?).
Looks like a regression (can't trigger the crash in 3.2) I'll bisect now

Have this issue been resolved? Do I need to download Blender 3.3 again?

For Blender 3.3 the fix is still on the list to be backported #100749 (Blender LTS: Maintenance Task 3.3)
