NMesh.GetRawFromObject on a subsurf doesn't give me generated subsurf

From 2.34 python docs:
This function gets deformed mesh data, already modified for rendering (think "display list").

The above 2.34 documentation leads me to believe that NMes.GetRawFromObject should give me an NMesh representing the rendered mesh. It does, however, give me the original mesh. Being able to get the subsurfed Mesh would be very useful for game exporters.

Either this is a 'documentation wrong' or a Python feature request ;-) You decide....
