Blender 2.6.1 : Using "Remove Doubles" resets parameter "Merge thresholds" to 0.00010 #29716

%%%Hello, I recently start to use Blender again, so I downloaded the most recent version 2.6.1, however I cannot find a bug report page for this version.
Please tell me if there's a place more approriate for my bug report.
So here it is :

When using "Remove Doubles", whether it is by clicking the button in the "Mesh Tools" menu or by the menu popping up when pressing the "W" key, the parameter "Merge thresholds" is reset to 0.00010 which I think is the default value.

As a result, I cannot use "Remove Doubles" with the value I want, and therefore cannot use the function.

Thank you for your support, and also thanks again for your contribution to this great software !%%%

%%%For me it's possible to change the value afterwards and it will redo the operation with the new threshold. Is the bug that it doesn't remember this value for the next time you do remove doubles?%%%

%%%Hello.

Actually I had forgotten to select the vertices before calling "Remove Doubles", so I tested it again and it works that way.
However, the value I enter as a threshold parameter is indeed reset after being used once, as you suggest.
So indeed the bug is that I have to input my threshold parameter every tie i want to use it.

Also as an additional information, I am using the 2.6.1 version for "Mac OS X 10.6+ 64bits" (I downloaded it from the blender.org download page). %%%

%%%I can change threshold in case when there's no selected vertices at all but its indeed makes no effect at all (which is intended). Threshold parameter is indeed not re-using when running this operator next time. It's not only this operator which suffers from this behavior and i'd rather see more general solution for this (like this patch http://codereview.appspot.com/5131053/).
Thanks for the ereport, but not re-using operator properties is a known limitation for now, so will close it now.%%%
