UV Editor: missing pivot line during scaling or rotation

During scaling or rotating mesh elements in UV/Image Editor, no line is drawn between the mouse cursor and the pivot of this operation.
Such a line was present in Blender 2.49 (see enclosed PDF file for comparison).

Similar line is present during scaling or rotating elements in the 3D View.

Without this "pivot line" it is more difficult to estimate the exact location of the pivot point in the UV Editor, especially in the Boudning Box or similar pivot modes. In general, this iconsistency makes the whole work with UV maps less comforatble.
