Mask Layer 1 does not mask, instead includes layer in RenderLayer

In r45510 when you use render layers and set layer 1 to be a mask layer, it includes those objects into the layer rather than masking them.

To replicate this simply render the attached file and check the render layers in the compositor.

Layer 1 has two balls, layer 2 has a monkey head. The Ball render layer should be masked by the monkey, but instead the monkey is included. Masking layer 2 works as expected, though, as can be seen on the Monkey render layer.

Fix in svn. It didn't work in case the object had no material assigned.
