Air resistance on the faces of a softbodies mesh rather than verts, and a force to preserve mesh volume
Closed, ArchivedPublic

This patch adds code to softbodies which causes the media friction to be applied based on the surface normal of each face of a softbody mesh, rather than at the verts. As a result, you can simulate realistic fluttering and parachuting motion of falling cloth (whereas in the previous version it would simply fall straight down). Also added is a related 'pressure force' which causes a mesh to maintain its volume (prevents crumpling). Both of these can be switched on with an added button in the softbody interface, and a slider has been added for the stiffness of the volume-preserving force.

It may be desireable to modify the placement of the 'pressure' button before inclusion.
