First of all, you'd better not edit texture nodes when there're previews visible. Texture nodes are not thread safe at all, and it causes crashes.

But further, in this particular case when i close all previews, delete all nodes and do Undo blender crash. Not currently sure what could be an issue here and will do some further research.

Strange, crash happens in cases you're unding after you'll shod material preview and hide it again even.

Lukas, i hate to bring it to you, but seems i'll assign report to you ;)

I've bisected sources and seems yours r39941 caused the crash.

To reproduce the crash:
- Open texnodes_crash.blend
- Switch to Material Buttons, wait for preview to appear
- Switch to Mesh buttons, so there's no preview on the screen
- Delete all the nodes
- Undo deletion
- BANG!

Hope to have some of your brains to figure out what's going on here :)

Passed on to Ton, try your luck :)

Both cases where different crashes, related to same weak feature of Texture nodes keeping the exec cache around.
