Themes user prefs: No longer "Default" theme, click on reset doesn't reset theme preset name
Closed, InvalidPublicTO DO

--- Blender version with error, and version that worked ---

--- Short description of error ---
Prior to 2.66, there was an entry in theme preset dropdown list called "Default". Now it's gone, but wasn't really needed in the first place, since we have the "Reset to Default Theme" button.

BUT: if you hit that button, dropdown list label (EnumProp) stays unchanged, it should reset to "Presets".

ui.reset_default_theme is a C-operator, so it needs to be done here: \blender\editors\interface\interface_ops.c

Not sure it's possible to affect on py-defined preset menu label. Maybe Campbell knows? :)

Default Theme is in "contrib" addons, which is not bundled with releases. So this is not a missing thing / bug.

It more about the step after pressing the "reset to default theme" button. The theme will reset, but the dropdown menu will not, because there is no such entry for the default theme. For example: I choose "Soft Blend" from the theme list and then press "Reset to Default Theme". Now i have the colors back, but the dropdown menu still shows "Soft Blend".

This is a glitch but more a low priority TODO, added to WIKI, setting as TODO.

A python operator could be created to wrap C operator ui.reset_default_theme, and that py op would be used for the Reset button. After the call to the C op, the py op would reset the label to "Default".

It would be much nicer however, if Blender remembered theme names, so that you always knew, what is it currently using (or on what theme the current one was based on). F8 clears the theme dropdown label currently.
