I'm unable to replicate this bug.
Mikel007: do you receive any information when blender crashes? Script line-numbers which cause the crash would be very helpful.
Blender crash iimmediately after pressing the circle command. There aren
t any messages or Bug-Report. But i can say, that the problem don
t appear if i use the command with the same file "Duschkopf" under windows 7. I have a second PC with windows 7 (32Bit). It is possible that my old graphic card (Radeon HD 4670 from 2007) is the reason for the problem ? I have just a second problem with Blender (Blender crashes if I press the "enable Dynamic" - Button in the sculpt mode). I have this problem told into another treat (blender/blender#37668).Think i will buy a new graphic card in the next days. Perhaps the problems are solved then.
Here the newest informations about the problem. I have "downgraded" my PC with Windows 7 x64. It seems that my graphic card is to old for windows 8 because WIN8 has deleted the driver of the graphic card and used his own drivers. Under Windows 7 Blender doesn`t crash but by activating the circle command there is a false behaviour. After scaling the four vertexes to Z-Zero (pressing the buttons S - Z - 0) the command has done what it should. I think the problem is my 5 year old graphic card. I think with this result someone can close these treat.
With best wishes for a new year, Mikel007

Thanks for the follow-up.
I'm closing the report for now. However, if the problem shows up again in a different setting feel free to re-open or submit again.
