Ask To Save - OSX, Linux
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

There is not an "Ask to Save" dialog when closing Blender on Linux. This needs implemented. It's already available on Windows as a User Preferences option, and it's there on OS X.

Linux
No option available for asking to save.

OS X
Ask To Save works, except when quitting Blender from the File menu, at which point it instantly quits with no prompt.

What about Windows prompt, or moreover, when should Blender prompt for quit?

I think that this commit solves the issue:

It was tested for "File -> Quit" on Windows, Darwin and Linux

On Linux it still won't ask to save when you click the close button on the window (the one next to minimize, maximize). This is where the platform specific linux code is needed.
