Segfault and Memory corruption error when oping attached file. #38106

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on a (as simple as possible) attached .blend file with minimum amount of steps

I am using Blender GIT REV 2014-01-07-23-04-47-2328f94
on Fedora 20 64bit with Intel 3000 HD GFX

I noticed that the most recent version of Blender when
opening a file which have text on a curve that is underlined
and has a underline position offset, Blender segfaults.

It also appears as if there is induced memory corruption as
well in libc?

Older versions do not crash btw.

I have attached my system-info.txt, backtrace and memory corruption
message from libc?

I am not sure if this is Blender's fault or libc but just in case
I figured I would report.

Update I also created the file fresh from the newest version of Blender and still get the crash btw.

Attached is the new file, made with the newest Blender, it will either crash blender on opening or if you alter the position field value a few times.

Update: I also found that if I started a default scene delete everything then:

Add a Curve Circle
Add Some text
Make the Curve Circle the path object for the text
Select the text
Enter Edit Mode on the text.
Select the text position option and set it to .4
Set the underline option
Start typing so that the 3D text is created underlined and offset.
On my machine this causes a crash eventually.
