What do you mean by “Experience breakage and cry for hours.”? Please give a precise description of the issue(s), ideally with a screenshot of issue & expected result.
I thought the file would have been enough, but ok.
first shot is error, second is expected.
both screens are from the exact same file opened in different versions of blender.
Hmmm… Cannot reproduce this with latest trunk, and unfortunately seems like http://builder.blender.org/download/ did not build last days... :/

i'm afraid this bug is from the latest windows build, freshly downloaded this morning. Although its dated Jan 14

Well,
5611fb6is from last monday the 13th… I just downgraded to it, and could reproduce the issue. But with current trunk I for sure cannot reproduce it, so I’d consider it fixed already!Added subscriber: @AtomP
