Hard crash without any info on console (because all screens vanish instantly)

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • load attached .blend (it contains an object with just 2 verts and 1 edge with a skin mod. And a text buffer with system info)
  • TAB to edit mode
  • A to select both verts
  • CTRL-A 0 RETURN to scale both vertex radii to zero. Observe crash
