OSX Fullscreen Mode

System Information

Blender Version
Broken: 7461fea
Worked: 2.69

Short description of error
Recently the Blender Native Fullscreen Mode got disabled in favor of OSX Lion Native Fullscreen Mode. This is a big Mistake for Multi-Screen Setup, as the OSX Native Fullscreen Mode does make other Screens unusable by render a Pattern on this Screen. (behaves like this before 10.9!)

Thus make it impossible to have anything else on any Screen than Blender. I Have reported this exact Issue about 1.5 Years ago, and Ton added the Blender Native Fullscreen back in then and agreed on this issue.

Now again it's removed.

I really really don't think this is a good idea - If anything is dropped then the OSX Native Fullscreen!

So why can't we just drop OSX Native Fullscreen and leave Blender Fullscreen in there?

Event Timeline

It always uses the Lion style fullscreen only if OS X is version 10.9 or higher. As far as I know OS X 10.9 supports multi monitor setups fine.

Which OS X version are you testing this on? Are you saying that even on earlier OS X versions it is disabled, or are you using 10.9 and want the old behavior there?

You are right brecht. I did not see it behaves differently for osx 10.9 than previous version. It works as you describe, just tested on 10.9 and 10.8.5. So everything is fine. (I don't like how it zooms on OSX 10.9, but that's a minor issue)

You can close this one, thank you and sorry for wasting your time ;-)
