Broken shading with mirror modifier and auto smooth normals while hiding verts.

Short description of error
Shading of faces look as if they had inverted normals, while:

  1. you hide some faces or vertices in edit mode, but only
  2. if there is mirror modifier
  3. and and auto smooth normals on.

i'ts not a big problem. I'ts only in edit mode. It does not cause problems when rendering.
I can turn off auto smooth while modeling, but it is inconvenient.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. subdivide cube
  2. delete half
  3. subdivide everything (to have more faces to observe shading issue)
  4. add mirror modifier
  5. shade cube smooth
  6. turn on auto smooth normals
  7. hide something in edit mode

Hmm… works OK with VBO, not with legacy mode, this is a bit unexpected… :/
