BGE Multiple Viewports: Embedded Player and Standalone Player not showing the same thing #40276

Blender Version
Broken: 2.70a

Short description of error
Was following this video tutorial on how to create split screen camera effect in BGE:

Now, the issue I found is that the Embedded Player and Standalone Player view are not showing the same thing. It look dark and no light when I display it on Standalone Player. However, the Embedded Player is displaying the right view.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on a (as simple as possible) attached .blend file with minimum amount of steps

I realized that this BUG, is more like a GOTCHA.

I found this therad, and that's exactly the issue: Blender Game Engine will display Default Material as black.

Lots of things could be improved in BGE. Object without material is not so much common i guess, wouldn't really consider this is a bug.
