Operating system: Windows 7 64 bit
Blender Version: 2.70a f93bc76

Short description of error: Importing Collada DAE file crashes Blender

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error:
Choose File->Import->Collada (default) DAE->choose the attached file->
press import collada button
blender crashes

This is been confirmed for other users to have the same problem (do not know which build they have), see post:https://plus.google.com/106431528813551902652/posts/N9xyW3FSd7c
File which causes this problem has been attached{F95097}

Meeeh… Took me some time, but that dae file is actually invalid (several nodes (animation ones) with the same id…).

Would be nice to avoid crashing in this case, but not so easy to do - and COLLADA is not really maintained in Blender currently, so will close this report - thanks anyway!
