Works correctly here, what is supposed to fail in this file?

On my end it's like some vertexs don't exist.. I am able to paint only small portions of each object.. example: On Suzanne I can only paint the whites of her eyes.. I can however just make a vertex group and assign the weight and it shows up just fine in weight paint mode, but then, i can neither add or subtract from that..

There are known problems with some graphics cards when using Multisampling, also called FSAA or Fullscreen Anti-Aliasing,

This is a Blender preference you can disable:

User Preferences -> System -> Window Draw Method -> (Set to 'No Multi-Sample')

Also, this can be set in the graphics cards preferences, there is often an option to override, or let the application choose.
You should set to let the application choose.

This causes problems with the selection-buffer under some configurations, Blender disables this via OpenGL API, but some drivers ignore the request.

Could you see if this is the cause of the problem?

My preferences were already set to cpu and no multi-sample.  I tried every combination with no success, but however I did downloading a bunch of other builds to find one that works.   
Here is the link to a build that seems to work fine.  I made sure to change all the settings with this build too seems to work good. http://graphicall.org/1007

Does the official 2.65 release work?

At this point we really need someone else to be able to redo the bug, or at least track down the error to a change to Blender.

However many users can weight paint without troubles, so its a bit of a mystery why it fails for you.

Just incase, Did you try reset factory settings? - maybe its a keymap issue or so.

The issue reported can't be reproduced so far, and has been moved to the BF Blender: Unconfirmed project.
If 2 other people aren't able to redo the bug after 2 weeks, it will be closed.

We appreciate the effort that goes into making bug reports, but to be able to fix bugs we have to be able to redo them.
If there is anything you can provide to help others to reproduce the problem, be sure to include it.

No answer from author, and nobody managed to reproduce that… time to archive. Thanks for the report anyway.
